 What is solarSwarm?

solarSwarm is the worlds first social network record label. Swarmers are regular edm lovers like you, they are also producers, designers, IT dudes, press and promo dudes, people who have opinions and great ideas about this music. Swarmers collect music demos for the label. Swarmers can source demos from anywhere they wish, from any artist of their choosing. When you have something you think is good enough, upload it to the Interactive Music Player on the Swarm page, linking it to a topic and poll you have created in the 'potential signings' section of the forum. If the track recieves 75% yes votes, it will be signed. Behind the scenes staff will sort out all the legal and financials.

Then remixes need to be sourced in the same way. If remix fees need to be paid, office staff deal with this too.
Then artwork imagery needs to be decided on. Each release tile contains a 'unique image'. Swarmers can upload their own phots or desin ideas to the Interactive Art Viewer on the Swarm page, and link to a topic and poll they have created on the forum.

Swarmers establish natural roles for themselves in the label, some have more input in choosing music, others in selecting the design elements, others a bit of both. You may wish to find and introduce new members to the Swarm to add to the creative input.

Rich Solarstone mentors the project and act as overseer, and we have several Swarm Moderators who are your point of contact with the back-end admin. The guys in the office will control the budget, contracts, advances etc and also the promo system to DJs is handled in house by our existing automated system. All the creative & A&R decisions (aka 'the fun stuff') will be taken by the Swarm by means of voting in polls using the Forum and the this Swarm page on the website.
